My tready says kph (because it is printed on next to the display) but I know it reads in mph and miles because I changed it in the setup!

All treadmills that I have used are kph, except my own which I had to change to mph.

As Swerve says it may be you're only doing 3.1km on the tready.

I've also seen a lone bag-piper practising near the local resevoir. Bit eerie running through the trees with 'Amazing Grace' being piped out at full belt ahead of you!

Also seen a bloke taking some 'personal' piccies of his girlfriend in the local woods.

Apparently, he left his chip at home! They must have given him the gun time when he crossed the line

Got a mate who is claiming a 43 min 10k but checking official results his time is 56m 48s.

Before I start questioning his honesty can the difference be explained in the delayed starting procedure or is it all actual times from the chip timing system?

Ta in advance.

Thought it was just me. I've got two - one goes off every day at 11:45 in the AM and the other is in my bedroom somewhere (I have no idea where!) and this beeps every hour at 10 to the hour, which is nice.
