It might be ill advised but it can't be racist. Islam is a religion not a race.
Ok you're right but that's a technicality, the question should have been what is more discriminatory, I happen to think excluding others is discriminatory but if what Lou Diamonds says is true that it was open to everyone what's the fuss about
Booking it and touting it as Muslim only is probably racist and ill-advised, what would happen if I turned up as a non-muslim? would I have been turned away? On the other hand violent threats are racist and thuggish, which is probably worse on balance. In the end who decided at a major attraction to accept such a booking, surely they would have seen trouble ahead.
So the Danes gutting the Giraffe publicly in the Zoo last week was educational and not such a bad idea after all.
There's a lot of hypocrisy in this, we lord it over everyone else in the world (Korea with their eating of dogs and Europe with horse meat etc) whilst we breed sheep to eat small lambs. If we're going to be meat eaters we should at least face it, and whilst I am happy to listen to the various veggie arguments I'd like them to respect my carnivorous ways and leave me to it. I suspect the complaints for this display were possibly from the non-meat eaters who should have more tolerance.
