MC - I did wonder what had happened to you when I didn't see you on the run. I hoped you had decided the weather was to rubbish and had gone home. Glad you are not too badly injured and hope it doesn't cost to much to sort out the bike.
I managed 5:17 which given the lack of input since Outlaw was a very good result even if the bike is a couple of miles short of a full HIM. Would be a very quick course on a warm dry day but not too slow even with the hideous weather.
Red Squirrel - not a great week for you but nothing a little abuse of the flexible friend wont solve. Bike shoes are a tricky thing to fit and try out but as usual try and get to a shop with a decent selection and see what is comfortable. If possible find a pair where you are in the middle of the fit so you can tighten or loosen part way round your long rides if needed.
Not sure if there is Swim Cap order planned but no use for races anyway as the organisers insist you wear there Cap. Good for down the lake though.
