Another open water today. Was in there for about 35mins. Couldn't even talk properly at the end I was so cold. Not sure how I'll manage the half next week.

If I want to change into my cycle shorts after the swim, what do I wear under my wetsuit. Does anyone know if there are tents at the half or if we change outside

A question for those in the know - I want to wear my proper cycle shorts for the bike part as a pose to tri shorts, so what do I wear under my wetsuit. Do we change in a tent for the half or in full view of everyone?

Also wasn't planning on it being winter weather in June so I'm trying out different jackets etc to decide what to wear on the top half. I hate being cold and presume I will start the bike with frostbite unless the lake's heated

Dustboy - cold it certainly is. My right foot has frostbite

I have also been into an open air pool in my wetsuit and I think it has helped. %th open water swim tonight and finally no asthmatic panic attack

Postie - hope husband recovers quickly.

On other news, I actually managed about 750m in open water front crawl. Yes yes yes Feeling bit more positive. Have swum last 5 days in a row though. Not my idea of fun
