I ran on streatches of the NDW on Sunday and it was pretty bad mud, though nothing deeper than ankle-deep. Should be showers for the weekend and won't have dried out much so prepare for lots of mud! On the plus side some of the sandier sections are easier to run through. I've done this event twice and still can't remember the golf course, I have complete route-amnesia! |

Hey all, I was one of the few who did the test event on Easter Monday - and it's a really great course! Not as steep as I thought it might be - I've cycled and raced in a duathlon at Redbridge so know what you mean about those hills! Nothing as steep at the Cyclopark, just small undulations that keep it a bit more interesting than pan flat. I was genuinely surprised at how the 17 laps went - not as dull as I'd thought, I think in part to seeing others on the way round as it winds around a fair bit. It was really good for pacing and no one seemed to have difficulty knowing what number lap they were on! If you're looking for a well-organised and hassle-free marathon with pb potential then this is a great one! |

Hi, If anyone's going from SE/Central London and would have lift-space in a car could you please get in touch? Trains seem tricky to get to the start in time! Thanks, looks good and I've signed up but a 60mile cycle isn't my ideal warm up... |

| If anyone has a spare number for this race they can't use could they please get in touch? I'll look into squaring it with the race organisers in case I find an entry... and of course happy to re-imburse the cost, thanks! |
