Im waiting to hear back from the GP re charge for signing and stamping my medical certificate.I think if it's anything over 20 pounds then I will say no and go elsewhere.
The GP sees me out running all the time and knows that I have completed 8 marathons,15 HMs with no problems so I will feel cheated if cost is excessive.
Do we have an other options though? Can we shop around for this?Go to another doctors surgery etc.Basically it's just a signature and Drs stamp Im wanting!Just hoping my GP uses a bit of common sense and doesn't see this as a way to extract money off me!
thanks for your feedback.great that the slower runners were allowed to finish.Think most would accept that some of the signs/Marshall's etc would have gone but still good to get an official time.what I would hate to happen is if someone got to 24 miles but were told to stop running as had already taken 4.5 hours.
Im hoping to get my time down to 4.40 ish and don't mind a quiet second half of the race.Do a lot of my training running through Milton,Sutton Courtney so makes sense to do my local race
I also note the disqualification of six runners for wearing headphones, good on the organisers as so often that rule isn't brought to bear.
