Hell up North yesterday. Nice change to run off road, little impact on the poor old knees, but the wading through waist deep freezing water was a step too far for me. 3:00 to cover some over 10 miles ( exact distance unkown). Was going so slowly that my Garmin only recorded 2:20, so there were 40 minutes where I was effectively stationary. The freezing bogs were good foru horrible leg cramps though!
Afternoon all, Just a quick dip in, loads going on here! Managed a slow 5 miles too soon after tea last night. At about mile 4 I was feeling very low when a faux 4x4 with only sidelights on did a U turn round the junction I was crossing, with no indicators. It is amazing how much better I felt for teh good jolt of adrenaline combined with a good shout! Not recomended for every day use, but the adrenaline kick really did have an effect!
