We 3 - I got my appointment within a week of seeing the GP! so from seeing the GP to the op date was only about 14 days. The only problem was the surgen postponed it because Mrs KT was still pregnant. When I rang to re-book it was only another 10 days or so.
My advice for afterwards is to wear briefs not boxers. Immediately after i wore briefs as recommended but went back to boxers after about 3 days. 2 days of wearing boxers and I was is alot of pain!! as soon as I changed back to briefs the pain stopped the same day.
AN - I got my "after Vasectomy care kit too" I think my dignity's about to go too
Thanks to all who replied to this thread. For your infomation I did my first run back yesterday and although I'm conviced my gait has changed ( I was concentrating on running as smooth as I could for obvious reasons), it went reasonably well, 4.5 miles and a steady pace.
I've got to say most of the time I ware my gloves i regret it by about mile 3 and end up carrying them the rest of the way.
I've never bothered with a hat either as I just get too hot. I use a long sleeve shirt and either full length or 3/4 leggings (I always feel a bit camp calling them leggings) in the dry and substitute the long sleeve for a win/water proof in the rain (cold killers) but i just ware a vest underneath.
