Im even more confused now, with these other suggestions.... Thanks Rick, its nice to have the comparison. Now I actually have some run data in there and can look at it on Garmin connect, im quite impressed, I particularly like the other activites displayed by other others in the area - does any of the other products have this feature ? What do the other products have thats better than Garmin connect ? |

Thanks for the tips, I tend to get up then go for a run straight away. Seems like trial and error seems to be the way to go, a banana is working well for me. Explosove Tom Tom ? I guess we're not talking about speed.... |

I have just purchased a Garmin 305, has any one got any advice on which software to use with it ? what are the benefits of the different packages ? (Garmin Training Centre, Garmin Connect, Sports Track, any others ?) Thanks |

Hi Lisa thanks for the great tips (I chuckled at the cake comment), my diet is pretty healthy and I eat most of those things you suggest. My thoughts were to consume less calories and burn more calories, as Im new to running I guess eating what I do now with the extra exercise will let me loose those few pounds. You didnt mention monkey nuts ! are they okay ? I had a binge on those last night ! |

But what if you need to loose a few pounds ? and only exercise every other day so you dont need to refuel so quickly. Surely it would be best not to eat after a run ? Any thoughts ? |
