Thanks Rosemary: it's great, isn't it?  Can't wait for the pictures!

Got my NDW completion 'reward' to myself in the post: a map of the Thames Path and a Petzl headlamp.  Next stop: Thames Path 100 in March 2013!

Great report Rosemary!

Looking at the website this morning, I was a tad upset that my finish tme hadn't been recorded.  I was sixth woman, I think, and 60th overall (time 11:27:11).  Nothing spectacular, but not bad for a first-timer, and a vet runner to boot!

Still, these things happen - and what a super event!

Wow - what a fantastic race!  I loved it!  I got around quite well for a first-timer, and am already thinking about the next race.

Congratulations, Debra, on your result!

Looking forward to seeing you all next year!

Hi everyone!  Ben, thanks for those wise words, which will be very helpful to remember during the tough times.

The Downs took a hammering with the rain today (and I was caught in the middle of the downpour during a recovery run).  Cross fingers for a dry week to lessen the mud.

Good luck with the last few days of taper, everyone!  See you in Farnham!

Wow, Tim - amazing to hear of your crewing experience - good luck with the Western States goal!

Rosemary, Daz and pmo: hope that all injuries and illnesses are resolved in good time - one week to go!

Course update: A heavy rainfall out here has made part of the trail on Ranmore both muddy and slick (where the chalk is).  It's not in bad shape, but it keeps one honest in the technical parts.  Temperatures are pretty ideal at the moment.

Thanks for all good wishes: I'm so happy to have made it to this point.  I'm very slow, but have done a good programme of training, so hope to complete in decent shape.  Good luck to all, and stay tuned for NDW updates over the coming week.
