Hi,

I would like a running push chair that I can start using from about 1 month old.  Can anyone recommend anything, as Baby Joggers are recommended from 12 months.  Thanks, Sam

I am avoiding any thoughts of vertical drops!!! I am starting to get some trekking in after Easter.  I am in Verona, so it is only an hour and a half to some pretty impressive heights.  I will start to train with poles and a camel pack when I start doing longer treks...

Thanks for the advice, Sam

Hi Patrick,

That is pretty much what I am doing too.  I run an ultra programme during the week and try to get up to the mountains on a Sunday and do as much trail running as I can.  I am clocking in about 80 - 90kms a week and doing back to back long runs on Sat/Sun to get my legs used to running when they are tired.  I am also going to start running in the wee hours of the night, to get used to that, as the race leaves at midnight..

The man at my running shop has run it twice and he said, you cannot run it all and that you have to take the event as it comes... he also said to invest in good trail shoes because if it rains you are screwed...

See you there!!! And hopefully at the finish (50% of runners dropped out last year midrace!)

Sam

But isn't this shoe designed for heavier runners?  I used wave Creations and they were amazing until I started having problems with my knee.  When I went to my shoe specialist he told me that the reason that Creations aren't for everyone is that they are designed for people who are heavier - upward of 70kg - and that if you are lighter the wave doesn't work to its full effect.  Is this true???
