I'm still here with the odd bit of lurking going on just to see what you are all up to. I'm active again down south here in the land of the heathen doing what we Scots have always been good at, dishing out beads and axes to the natives!
I've run my first adventure race in Brecon, South Wales, the Stonehenge Half and on Saturday the Marlborough Downs 20 Miler, off road and in the crappiest weather imagineable. It was just like being at home. 5 miles in glutinous mud then 15 miles in the wind and rain. Lovely. Next race is the Questars Adventure Race in Sherwood Forest in July which will give my little legs time to recover.
I hope you are all well. I'm back at work and beavering away down south so cannot keep up to date quite the same. I do get home occasionally and I still lurk on the odd evening when I have fitted in a run and feel guilty. I've cut down to 3-4 times a week. It's a bit like when I quite the fags as I get twitchy!
PS Down London way - no hills. It's a bit sad really!
