2015 Course video now up on Dublin Mara facebook page! - looks hilly to me!! -seems a long long way when you watch it
Slow 4 mile jog for me this morning after nightshift -legs still sore after last Sundays 20 miles -paranoid about getting injured at this stage (would not be good)
Vicky/sorelegs/goalpost you all seem set up for a very fast time.
Well how is everyone getting on?
Final LSR done -20 miles, perfect weather for it, felt ok, legs stiff now, but close to taper time.
Confirmed as just over 15,000 entries - should be a great atmosphere
Well just completed my 20 miler in 3hrs 42 mins.
Probably way too fast for a LSR for me, but done now. Felt ok, ran the whole way apart from 2 short walking water breaks.
Perfect day for running, a few wobbles but pretty much sustained an even pace throughout (according to my wife's bright purple garmin
So into taper time now -work is pretty much done, so touch wood under 5 hours is obtainable, we will see. I will update after marathon...........................................
Any last minute tips, re food intake, pacing etc etc?
Just to confirm, its official, blue trainers are the fastest, the man in the shop told me so and said anyone who runs in any-other colours are fools!
Thought I would bump this up -very quiet on here - not long to go now!
Training going ok...ish, 14 miles this weekend then final LSR of 20 miles next week.
Hows every-one else getting on?
