Tanks for the advice ladies, I'll try lilets, am already in topity top absorbtion Tampax, so it good to know maybe its Tampax that's crap rather than me being weird. Periods are sooooo annoying!

I have just started swimming again after a gap of about 25 years(!), and I'm training for my first Triathlon. I'm very nervous about swimming when I have my period as I find that I leak when I get out of the bath, even with tampax. Is it different when you swim? Are there any other solutions? Are lilets any better? Also, I've just read about the Femmecup on Amazon, (see the link below), but couldn't find any reviews from swimmers. Any advice from seasoned swimmers is gratefully recieved. I have my first swim lesson on Monday and my period is due on Sunday. Typical!

Thank you!

I did a pretty painful 7 Miles this morning, so I've decided to stop running completely for a couple of weeks and cross train instead. I don't want to get into summer and not be able to run!

Its ok, I'm under Physio's orders Gymaddict! And Cycling definitely doesn't seem to aggrivate it, as its getting better every week, despite having started adding running back into the mix (off-road and flat at the mo though). But thanks for mentioning it. And I certainly wouldn't even start the Marathon unless I had covered at least 16 miles in training! (I had got up to 15M when my knee went at week 9 of a 16 week plan).

Cougie - I'm entered for Brighton on 14th April, but I've now decided to use that as a long run, and have also entered the North Dorset Village Marathon on 5th May. That's the one I'm aiming for now.
