Dan - that is so bad having invested so much in this campaign. Didn't the physio say he hoped to get you realigned in not too long a timeframe? If so then all that training doesn't go to waste, so hopefully with a little top up you can put it to use in another event in the near future.
More bad news from Dr Dave - hope you get the hip sorted out soon and if it isn't to be a spring marathon then I'm sure you'll be using your impressive training to great effect in 10ks etc. before the summer.
Great LR by Luke, wish I could do them like that! And then Steve takes it to another level, what a finish.
Excellent half at Cambridge by CW, I'm minded to think you have must've kept some reserve to somehow do another 13 after, but then again you're CW - you always seem to have energy for inordinate amounts of running! Hope your right foot recovers quickly (and hope your racing shoe surgery isn't to blame).
And another great half by AW, excellent work to smash through the 80m barrier in style!
Well done Bedders, great time and big pb, proves you're in great form. "Last big week coming up before taper time, a couple of long runs of 21-23m and 18m" - are you doing all three this week???
Plenty more good racing this weekend so well done all, hope everyone spared a at least a couple of matches on the 20 milers.
Finally a hell of a run by HR, sounds great fun but must've been tough keeping the effort up with all that "terrain" - where were you by the way?
