Q1. Adidas Boost marketing all over the place, I think some of you have got a pair - what do you make of them?
Q2. Wouldn't mind a running cap to slow down the browning process, but I find them too hot. Can you get them 'topless' - maybe even with those cooling crystals in the brim that I saw in hats in Cotswolds shops a while back.
Kevin - turn off Autolap next time and press lap button each time you go through a mile arch, if you miss one don't worry, just do it twice at the next one, your lap average will give you your "course mile" pace - far more reliable.
TR - if at any stage you want to sell your Abo munber, I know someone who might be interested. If I'd known I might've tried to stick with you, I had a comfortable even-paced marathon (good) maybe could've been forced into a minute or two faster.
Charlie - they offered to do me the set of three at half price last year when I called several months later but I never got round to choosing them. Be patient and then call I reckon, they seemed to have carte blanche to offer deals over the phone. Yes - time to crack on with some gardening! I haven't dared tell my supportive wife that I've entered Abingdon so will probably be back into marathon training in a couple of months!!!
PS Where do people tend to stay for Abingdon? S'pose I could drive on the morning but it's about 100 miles.
