I had more in mind what literatin says, and as HA77 says it is a VLM championship qualifying time, so a target for a lot of runners who will benefit from running in a group rather than on their own. I think is a useful indication of the top of field that could help anyone sub-85 in choosing a race. Glasgow & Wilmslow added - first Sunday of October / April seem to be the best dates, although the latter probably VLM dependant.
sounds like they're fine, I replace mine after 500 miles, experience shows much more and I start getting tightness in lower legs before 600, although some people go further. But no harm in having a couple of pairs on the go, like Phil says above.
Sorry to hijack the thread ..... I have always worn GT-1000s and their predecessors and been happy with them, however I do have a propensity for injury and wonder if I should get something with a little more cushioning, which I presume is what the 2000s are, any advice appreciated!
