I thinbk this has been building for a few rides, but the Velothon really showed it up yesterday.
When on the bike, and changing postion (drops/hood/climbing) I get a real pain in my neck around shoulder height. I got it quite badly last week but had assumed it was gettign used to tribars again for the first time this year. It can't be tribars as I took them off fot the velothon (it appears I was the only one to actually take them off).
I'm sure it wasnt like this last year, but I may have done a bit mroe training then, and had a better core?
Looking at my bike I think at some point I dropped the bars down the stem by 1 thick riser (about 10mm) and I tried to level the saddle out a few weeks ago.
Does anyone think they have some idea as to what it may be, or what I shoudl try to ease it? First thing I'm going to do is put the bars higher
I have days when I get my wetsuit on right abd it feels good and days when it al goes wrong. I had to breast stroke the swim at Bala and I think it was fit. I swim at one outdoor lake and have good and bad days. Try putting your wetsuit on and see how you can move. Try a practice swim and note where the wetsuit fits on good and bad days.
You may need a new suit. Do you have any tri shops nearby you can try ones on at?
