Doner Kebab wrote (see)

oh chilli if you can hang around for a bit my brother might need a few hours kip if you could stand in for him - nothing too demanding, a bloke that was meant to be crewing for my 100 miler was also meant to be helping with this but he was a waste of time.

is anyone else coming to support/throw food at me ?

Doner sorry I'm not going to be there. I would help but I'm working that weekend and it's a long way away for me. Hope you get sorted.Don't hang up on time though. The run is hard particularly if it rains. It's not like running on tarmac in the rain, it gets muddy and slippy and at the climbs in around the tennis court and the woods just passed there it is hard.

Great for support though

I know a few of the names in the frame for a couple of weeks time as in Seren and Doner but is anyone else doing any of the events to look out for in the results??

Hows it going Doner??

Give me back roads over dual carriageways any day of the week. Even then though there are plenty of single carriageway roads that I steer clear of near me. The A69 Newcastle to Carlisle to the west of where I live is constant all day everyday with cars doing 60+. The military road ( route along Hadrians Wall )is a lovely place to be however on a bike it's a different matter. Again a fast road with hidden dips and crests. I use it sparingly to link up from one area to another if it can't be avoided.

The DC/SC is an argument that has gone on forever and will continue. Each to their own I suppose

Don't think so Eric. Look at Aldi website. It tells you what is on
