Thanks kind soul for posting the results. Gutted that I was over 2 hours by more or less the exact time I spent waiting to use the portaloo at the 4 mile point. I appreciate that this was a rookie mistake on my part for needing to use the loo mid-race, but when you have over 15,000 runners I was surprised that there were so few portaloos (comparing to the BUPA Great Run Manchester 10k). Oh well - no point p*ssing and moaning! The locals cheering everyone on and handing out sweets was really nice and other than the odd spitter / person randomly stopping right in front, it was a very positive experience I think that, considering the elements, it was fairly well organised as well (and the fact they were apologetic about the bus queue is fair enough). |

Can anyone get on the results site now? It is getting quite frustrating... Perhaps I am just spoilt by same-day results! |

If it makes you feel any better, despite going for a wee twice before the race, I had to stop for one at 4 miles and, because there was a queue, I will be out of my target time by about 5 minutes. Live and learn eh? |

I echo Apparition's comments above - well done to everyone and keep it up. |

Evening All Cheers for the welcome folks, it's been a while since I have posted on here @TST - Sorry to hear that your knee is giving you grief... can you do swimming as a low impact alternative? I have only banned myself from takeaway pizzas, so a homemade one sounds like a great idea! @Sinbad - I think you've been had by a dummy company posing as Amazon? :-P I guess if you can get in touch with the company it might help? Post Office delivery should go to a depot if they can't deliver it to you... |
