DJ - your website is brilliant! And well done on the running too.
I came back from a retirement do early last night so I could get up early to run, but didn't sleep and was sneezing all night so have done very little today a bit annoying because I haven't done the run longs I need to for York marathon but have next weekend to fit a long one in
DB - well done at the GNR - it is an event that I would not want to do because of the crowds, same with London, the crowds and the hassle of the logistics really puts me off
well, I came home early from a retirement do because I wanted to be up early to get 20 miles run/walked but hardly slept, sneezing and snuffling, been headachy all day, so have done nothing. Not going to swimming tonight either. Hoping that an early night will sort me out and I can get out and run tomorrow. Won't have the time for the 20 missed miles though
magnet, don't panic, just set out at a conservative pace and hang in. If you think you need to run/walk then doing that from the very start is better than running till your legs are dead then starting run/walk
I am doing the half, will take ages but never mind
currently trying to decide which car park to try to get in to
coco - well done to your dad, that is brilliant. Sorry to hear about MrCs aunt ((( )))
went to a retirement do for one of the maths teachers from my old school last night. he hadn't invited all the department, only the people that I actually like so it was nice to see them all I left early though because my plan was to get up at 5 to do 20 miles and still have some of the day left. But I couldn't sleep, was sneezing and snuffling all night and feel a bit rubbish So haven't run. Will see how I am later and see if I can sneak some kind of run in. I am not sure if the sneezing and snuffling is a cold or is due to me not taking the anti-histamines for a few days - I feel like I live on the damn things!
