Marigold

The footage of the finishers you posted on Youtube goes up to around 2.43ish. Any idea if there is any footage of later finishers?. I was around 2.55 in 782 place but can't find anything with me finishing on it.

TR

I pretty much struggled with PF hrough my whole training with different degrees of discomfort, achilles wasn't too hot either.

Brian

I was about 35/40 seconds behind Nell McAndrew at the finish so if you were around there our paths must have crossed.

I didn't come on here that often guys but just signing out with a quick note of my VLM race. I was after sub 3hr again. Found the last 3miles tough but manageable and eventually got round in 2.55.21. I had to ease off towards the last 2 miles with my leg close to cramping. I figured lose 2 minutes now and get a decent time or lose 10/15mins going down with cramp and finish in a heap. So 7min miles for 25+26 losing me just over a minute but thats life.

It was a 15mile race for me at the weekend. It was really hot and with the course being quite hilly towards the end had to put a bit of a shift in. Got round in 92.47 which works out at around 6.12's. The most pleasing fact for me was going through the 13.1 mark in around 80.50. Considering I hardly saw another soul from start to finish it was pretty hard to keep motivated.
