sort of ish .... i have a torn ligament and torn meniscus following a tumble earlier in year so i am not anticipating getting much of it done this time . But i love the atmosphere in Tenby , and was too late to transfer or get my money back anyway so have decided to go and get my expensive rucksack and swim cap and see how far i can get before the body says stop. Been having physio and they had given me the green light to start cycling again and knee has been ok with that so far... running is out of the question but if i can get through the bike before the cut ( which i accept seems pretty unlikely) i can make a decent stab at walking the marathon.
Cant remember what the official ruling was , but for sure lots of people had wet suits stripped to waist and ran bare chested in the last few years.. not many ladies though so may be a different rule for them .. Will definitely be a FAQ at the briefing
Incredibly i do Cheerful .. Most of them were with me Marshaling the turn in and out of the south loop of Outlaw this weekend. Wasn't me at the QE2 bridge though as i turn off just before that so looks like it was Feret
Looks like we have been spared the prospect of FF in his mankini ... so many people have feared this scenario (after last years feed station display) and raised their concerns to OSB that the official OSB FAQ has a response "No, Flat Footed, you can't wear a mankini, tankini or a bikini a ride a unicycle. We're following BTF rules, which are designed to help hget you round safely and comfortably. The Outlaw distance is already tough enough don't make it harder than it needs to be."
