doing this for the first time this year. completed my first HM last year doing the Brum HM, but have the feeling this will be a different challenge! normally only going up to 10k on my runs have just started training to get my milage in for this, but looking first and foremost to complete and let the time take care of itself!

I too wondered about luggage and kit etc, but sounds like they have it all in hand. Train to wolves, then bus home from brum, hopefully with all kit in tow!

I think I may try some more hill runs this week.

Quick Q, for you all.  As I did an 11 miler yesterday, what do you think I should do this Sunday, another 11 miler or reduce it in preparation for taper week?

Cheers

Jo

I was thinking something very similar for this coming week / weekend, although with the main ascent coming at circa 10 miles, i think i may just have a couple of 6-7 milers in the week and then find a couple of challenging hills this weekend, as a final prep
