Hey there, I also have this, I was advised against any impact sports/running, by the Docs, but told to go get very fit, so I got into weights, and core strengthening to try and lessen the pain caused by it, was advised swimming as well but seriously being in water when your joints pop out is not a good idea, (build your strength or live on painkillers, easy choice)

When I was a child I was never able to run as my knees/ankles/hips would pop out of joint which was really painful when landing, I started running at 29 when I became determined to run the half marathon before hitting 30, and have found that being stronger has lessened the popping out problems, not to say that it doesn't still happen

my advise, take it slowly, build up the muscle strength, and work the core muscle, these all seemed to have helped me.

There are a few comments re the Enell, I have not seen these before so am going to have to give them a whirl !!
