wow thanks for the info and the pacer with the buggy wow!!
Our club mentioned a club trip to do this next year so I'm hoping to do it as I was told they also do a HM and a 10k run as well so something that would suit all club members not wishing to do a marathon |

Bournemouth marathon did the same, they opened up the entries before a route had even been confirmed and its £50 to enter, so quite steep, i expect it will be well supported ( i'm doing marathons either side of that weekend so will probably enter the half now the route has been confirmed )
They didnt do Nottingham last year but i have heard it was a nice marathon
I do echo what others have said about Chester tho, it was a fabulous marathon I ran it last year and really enjoyed it all |

well i'm still a baby and have just completed number 6 but Traviss is the man,
He does 100milers I am in awe of him I have met quite a few of the 100 marathon clubbers even celebrated a couple of people's 100th marathon and have to say on the whole they are a great crowd, what I love about them is the last time I got my PB at one of the enigma events ( which is where u will find a wealth of 100 marathon clubbers ) is that alot of them took the time to come over and congratulate me on doing a PB even tho it was 4hours 55 so no fast marathon but you know they made me feel like i had some something so special and were so pleased for me
hopefully one day I will get there but think it will take me a good number of years to get there lol but hey ho, only 94 to go haha |

hills - i followed the asics plan for my first marathon and used it ever since, its fool proof, just log onto the website or do a google search for it, u put in how many times a week u run, ur age, weight, when ur event is and what distance it is and it works it all out for you What distances to run what pace to run them at, u cant go wrong with it, u really cant
I did Manchester too and got my PB yay of 4hours 50 which i was well chuffed with as i'm a plodder ( not one of these whippets hahaha ) but love my marathon running ( its my favourite distance )
I am looking forward to spending the weekend in York as its been years since i came there so looking forward to doing it and hopefully having a RW meet up somewhere |

I came to spectate last year and it was really enjoyable as I saw my friends quite frequently more so than you would see on a marathon that runs round a route. I also took my own little chair to sit by the side of the course which was quite easy to do
Emmy H there is also a Morrisons just up the road from the cyclopark if ur OH needs to get food supplies
even as a spectator thought the organisation of this was really good and having the cafe on site also meant I got a hot drink to sit with too as the weather had abit of alsorts last year, rain, wind and sun!!!
Well done to Ian for making this a great event and u never know I may even come along again to give people a shout |
