I don't know if you have heard of them but Wacky Walk'r shock reducing elastic dog leads are apparently also good for running. They are based on a bungee type principle so that you are not jarred every time the dog stops. I have yet to buy one yet (have not got round to it but for more info visit www.collarways.co.uk. They are not cheap but they also do an extension which you can add on to the end of your existing lead which is a compromise if you do not want to buy a new lead.
I have lost my appetite a bit too which is very unusual. I thought you were supposed to put on a couple of lbs in the last week but I seem to have lost them. Trying to eat plenty though - must be the stress. I still have a headache, I wake up with it every morning. Went to the pharmacist and she suggested taking Sedonium (herbal remedy for sleep and stress), she thinks the headache is lack of sleep. My subconscious obviously will not stop worrying! I will be running alone too as all my training buddies are in the blue start and I am in the red!
Thanks. It is very comforting to hear how everyone else is feeling. I suffer with headaches (worse under stress) and I have had one every day this week - have not taken anything but will have to on day just in case.
