Stewart great report and well done on the CB. Have fun at JS tonight.
Barbara great race report, and well done again
Colin well done on the 15m long run, particularly after a heavy weekend
Fiona eventful bike ride ! 2:08!!!!!!
Stuart well done on the 17 miler and good week's total
OH nice hilly 12m in balmy conditions
mathschick well done on the turbo
MG nice long tempo run yesterday
NP that was an impressive 10m effort this morning !. Well done on the double and good luck at the dentist's tomorrow.
3m recovery jog yesterday, legs were fine (although my skin isn't - sunburnt face, neck and shoulders from Sunday). Then tonight I took NP's advice and moved the long intervals earlier in the week, so I have more days to recover before Sunday's 10k attempt. 2 x 2m at 6'36" off 0.25m jog - HR much lower than last week so pleased with the session.
Stewart 18 with 13 at MP is a tough run - good confidence booster
mace superb running !! I read your post on the Overdone it thread - great report. Awesome running. As for my failure on Saturday I think NP nailed it on my Fetch log - I ran some hard intervals on Wednesday night and I hadn't recovered properly by Saturday 9am.
HM well done for dragging Chris out for the 6m. The ring sounded really complicated, so yes, piccies !
I have felt really hot all afternoon - now inspecting my face, neck and arms I realise I've been sunburnt!!
MG nice 18 miler - glad the lurgy is coming to an end
NP nice parkrun win, shame about the timing issue. Fantastic LR at 22.48m. Say "Hi" to Paul for me...
mathschick I do recommend that belt - neoprene so it doesn't move an inch (on me, at least)
Stuart thanks mate. I couldn't get anywhere near those splits with nowt in the tank! Good luck tomorrow.
Kaz I think 3 hours lugging a bag around counts as a session !
Stewart nice easy 4 plus BB. Did you get the double in or were you more sensible?
Fiona enjoy the bike ride
HM I agree with NP
Barbara great racing !!!! Well done breaking a 5 year old PB !
Essex 20 for me. Very sunny here and a bit too hot and hilly for me. As usual race day excitement took over and the 2 laps easy, one lap at MP didn't happen. Went off too fast and that made it a difficult last lap. 7 minutes slower than last year but happy enough with the pace/HR given the heat - averaged 8:26mm, 80%max HR avg. and managed to hit sub-8 in mile 2 and mile 20. Lol
NP nice easy 6 plus strides, hope the parkrun went to plan. I'm not in the same shape, long-run-wise, as last year, so I'm planning on doing the Essex 20 as two laps easy, last lap at "MP".
OH well done on the swim
Well the parkrun didn't go to plan at all. My clubmate managed a 19:46 and it was a shame that I didn't hang onto him. Very upset with 20:46 - the first mile was ok, but then I ended up running the last two at the pace I'm hoping to run my Half !! A few beers and a late night last night probably didn't help.
