Stuart I agree, if it's not fun then there's no point. I look forward to seeing you smash 1:20
OH good work Monday - double run, kayak and sea swim
Fiona nice easy run and well done on the hard turbo session
Ollie nice double river run
Gaz nice 9m along the waterfront. I think it's fair to say that most inexperienced runners train too hard - it doesn't hurt if you're only running once or twice a week, but when you step up the mileage for a marathon you have to slow things down or you'll break. Plus they'll never listen to you if you mumble on about aerobic gains and fat-burning for energy....lol
sub17 well done on the 45m cycle
25C here again, but fortunately not so humid - 5.15m easy, trying to stay in the shade (8:44mm)
OH well done on the triple training, including a half marathon!
HM hope the race went well
Cal enjoy the new shoes !
Fiona well done on the bike ride and hill reps - tough after little sleep
Gaz I work most evenings so early morning starts are impossible - well done on banging out that 20 miler
Sub17 tough run, sorry it didn't go well
Ollie good luck this evening
Well it was a little cooler here back in Essex: 20C with a light breeze, but still very humid. The vest was dripping after 2 miles and had tide marks after 8m. I bailed and finished after only 12m. Unless the weather normalises soon, I doubt I'll be going to Frankfurt.
37m for the week, av. pace 8:31mm, av. HR 70% of max.
