Hello I've read back to find some names I recongise... it has been a while since i have written. The names made me chuckle, we do come across some in school. Also funny how children live up to the notoriously naughty names too! I did have a mum in school called Kelly, this was fine except she married Mr Kelly - always worth considering future surnames for girls!
Someone also said about grumpy teething. My neighbour recommended anbesol - a liquid that you dab on your finger then on the toothy area (on the shelf there was a gel aged 12+, I had to ask and it was behindthe counter) It is much more powerful than bongela etc and totally numbs the area (tried it myself) - I used it on James and really would swear by it.
Also really excited as had 12 week scan last week and James will have a brother or sister next year. Have not been half as sick as last time (although am totally shattered). Just trying to sort my head around potty training - will it be before or aftr little one comes along. Very excited
MM thank you - will pass that on and also abbout the discount. Afriend of mine always asks about discount so I will certainly pass that advice on.
Minks -James used to spit out mouthfulls whe he did not want something or it was too hot... or whatever. However week before last he started storing it in his mouth. He just refused to eat or drink any more, would get down from the table and be playing away. My husband had a day off and was looking after him and noticed he dribble coming out of his mouth - he finally got him to slightly open his mouth and a mixture of food and saliva poured out. I spent the next few days prising his mouth open whilst he had a look of fear on his face when he refused to swallow his food. I was so thankful when he started to spit stuff out again. Back to 'normal' now.
Lotte, hope all was ok when hubbie got home.
MR Ditto the shattered when little one goes to bed.
CM enjoy Jacob's bday.
Roxy B fingers crossed it will pass soon - I am confident it will. Little ones just seem to like being little pickles at time!
JT well done for surviving. Join in with the rest of us on the countdown till the summer!
Twins question. One of our deputies is expecting twins. She is wondering about childcare. There is something about childminders only having one under the age of one. How does this work with twins. MM I think you have a childminder and will know the answer to this. I will be able to pass on any advice to her. Thanks
Lovely to read all what's going on with you all. Wish I was off on holiday too now, although I must just make the most of all the nice weather we get here (even if it is a bit random).
as for breastfeeding. I fed James, I hated having to feed him when we were out, really hated it and was very self conscious. I still did it. I think the majority of people are as discrete aspossible. I guess if there were more feeding rooms about it would not be such an issue. Can't see that happening though!
