Been for a nice 4.5 mile tempo run tonight, the biggeschangefor me taking on snowdon marathon is getting the right mix of training covered! Need long runs, speed work, tempos and lots of hills but not enough hours in the day or energy in the tank so far to cover it all!! Not panicking yet lol my milage is going well marathon 26thoxytocin er and I'm up to 15 this week for long run on Friday. Aiming for a none mile loop tomoz afternoon with a few from the club that Re entered like me for Cardiff half but just not silly enough to enter snowdon lol
I have not been logged on for sooooo long hope everyone is well looks like lots of running going on
so since I last came on I have somehow been talked into doing the snowdon marathon end of October had a friend at running clubs place transferred to me!!!!! Never done a marathon in my life and so far my longest mileage is only 14 miles so a long way to go! Sept and oct busy for me, I have cardiff 10 k and Swansea 10k in September then Cardiff half 6th oct and the biggy snowdon othe 26th!!! Everyone thinks I'm slightly mad as i hate hills so now have a place in the hilliest marathon in uk! I feel my goal for this is to complete it in one piece not worried about time as cant compare to any other marathon nearby.

Apologies been absent on here for weeks. Life just took over .
I completed my first half marathon on the 3rd march and have to say I am we'll and truly hooked o them!! I was over the moon with my first time of 2 hrs 2 mins it's true the buzz of a race carries you that bit quicker.
I also at last have a garmin now whoop whoop my wonderful husband must of been sick of my moaning and big hinting because that is what I got on Mother's Day this year happy mummy.
Am still loving being part of my running club they are so motivational

Monday night speed session at club track,
lovely group 5miler planned Wednesday was scrapped v heavy snow and even gym shut!!
Thursday gym treadmill 30 minute quick blast and a core class.
Tomoz morning group run 8-9 miler planned and all snow washed way around here xx
