Hello all.

What: 3 miles yesterday
Why: Ran home from work - don't want to fall off the horse after VLM. First couple of km felt like an elastic rope was pulling me back...
Last hard: VLM
Last rest: Sunday

Going to go along to my very first club run tonight with a view to joining. Clapham Pioneers.

Hi guys!
What: Nothing.
Why: Still resting from VLM!
Last hard: VLM!
Last rest: Monday, Tuesday... may leave re-boot until parkrun.
Lyrics: Not sure.

Catching up on Sunday Monday threads I see lots of you ran VLM on Sunday. It was my first marathon. Was aiming for 4.30, managed 4:34:04 which I'm super happy with! I had a great day and am eyeing up another marathon in six months time...

Thanks Cinders. Before I got a charity place for London I was planning on doing Dublin as my first marathon. I had such a good time I'm on the verge of signing up for this. Perfect excuse to visit a friend I haven't seen for ages, and obtain the 4:30 I was striving for in London!

Bracken I used Hal Higdon Novice 2. I stuck to the long runs religiously, was less successful with the week day runs but usually got 1 or 2 in a week, plus parkrun most Saturdays.

Hi guys, I managed 4 hours 34 mins and 3 seconds. Really happy for my first marathon, and my fundraising total is almost £2,500 for my charity too so I'm DELIGHTED!! Considering Dublin in October and am definitely entering the ballot for next year.... Well done everyone!
