Hi There I was wondering if anyone could help? On The 3rd of march I had a rowing race but unfortunately had to make up numbers in another boat too so ended up running 16km! The next tuesday I went for a 5 mile run with no problem however I got back and felt a slight twinge when I got up but nothing serious. The next day I tried running again it was ok for the first half but I had to walk home because it really hurt at the very bottom of my back top of bum to the right of the tail bone. Its also painful when i put trousers on that type of thing. I rested it until today and tried on the treadmill but couldnt and I have scheduled runs tomorrow tuesday and a half marathon next weekend! Does anyone know what this could be or how to cure it? Sorry for such a long answer. Many Thanks |

Hi there, For Christmas I got some lovely bontrager rxxxl road's. Seeing that the weather has been so nasty recently I have not dared take them out but we have finally had a nice few days and it looks set to last the week so I must try them out. However, how do I get the same cleat position on these as I have with my old (now for bad weather use) shoes? the position on the others is ok and I haven't really had any problems although I'm sure a pro would correct them! Is my best bet just setting them straight (with float) and with the ball of the food over the pedal axle? Many Thanks! |

Hi there! I have been training up to start doing triathlons (olympic distance) this summer after already being a keen cyclist and runner. However I dont know anything about swimming but after a few weeks of training I can feel myself improving. One problem is that whenever i swim using my normal cressi goggle they almost always spring a leak and this leaves me regularly stopping to clear them. Looking on an american tri site i heard of swedish goggles that people raved about but some said they have a really bad experience with leaking and rough edges. What are everyones thoughts? will they work for me? Many Thanks! |

Hiya, On my new years eve run (8.5 miles) towards the end I developed a slight pain on the outside of my left thigh which went away within a couple of miles. When I tried running a couple of days after it was quite painful so could only manage 5. Nearly 4 weeks on the pain is still there and sometimes i can feel it in the front and tops of my thigh near the joint and down the shin but mostly its on the outside. I have tried stretching the quads and hip flexors and foam rolling with a tennis ball but it doesnt really seem to make much difference. Just thought I would try on here to see if anyone else has had a similar problem and any advice would be greatly appriciated! if not it looks like im off on a trip to the physio this half term :/ also one more thing, the left does feel slightly weaker than the right? not sure if this has anything to do with it? Many thanks (sorry for such a long question) |
