Hey Kenbro, no i was thinking about race being subscribed to when i can already run the 13 miles. i may just try the 'Nocturnal Bear Training Plan' and keep you posted!
i just have always wondered if keeping the same pace but increase the distance would actually work
My friend and i were just discussing how to have a good crack at the 2hr half marathon.
i was thinking of trying a plan that ive not found much research about (im guessing theres not much research because it wont work that well but willing to givew it a go)
my plan is to do my training at 8:30 min/mile, 3 times a week run at this pace.
my first session would be targeted at 1 mile run in 8:30, once i hit this target then increase the distance to 1.5 miles in 12:45 then 2 miles in 17mins etc etc etc.
does anyone think this plan would be stupid or could i be onto something here?
AW3 just log in and see if they want your money http://www.virginmoneylondonmarathonballot.com/notify-payment/2/
Its a No for me
