Hope it's alright to post this here I know it's probably a long shot but wondering if anyone has a racing pack that's about 18-20 litres that they'd like to swap for my two packs - A Salomon XA10+3 pack (red) and a Camelbak Octane LR (green). Both the packs I've got are just a bit on the small side for the type of running and training (not to mention I also have to now carry a laptop on work commute runs) I do so I'm more than happy to do a 2 for 1 swap for a decent condition, quality brand pack that's close to or around 20 litre capacity and has a hydration system built in. Don't mind what brand you might have as long as it's a lightweight, reliable racing pack. I do like the Inov8 18L Race Pro but happy to consider any swap. Both my packs in are in good condition and full working order etc. |

There are a couple of clubs nearby, Meltham is perhaps closest and then there's also Stadium runners or Holmfirth. There's also a fair few folks who all run together and meet up at Parkrun on a saturday morning. |

I went out for a long slow run today and around 18 miles I started getting hiccups. It's happened on other long runs too and while it does usually ease off after a few more miles, sometimes I really suffer. Just wondering if anyone else experiences this, I assume it's going to be something to do with my stomach moving around and stirring up a bit as I try different foods / gels on long runs to prep for ultras so it's not a particular food / gel. Is there any way you guys deal with this sort of thing as it's frustrating that it's not my legs that suffer first but apparently my stomach! Cheers, |

I've entered this as my first Ultra, figured it looks a good intro to Ultra running and a decent course. Planning on running with a Camelbak, is it easy to refill at the stops or do they give out water bottles? |
