Bike serviced and has new rear drop so no longer liable to "EXPLODE", personally I didn't think it ever would but the mechanic was really rather over enthusiastic about it. It's lovely now though it actually purrs as you go through the gears.
I've been starting to notice a change in vibe from people when I mention the vit, it seems to have suddenly gone from
Ohh that's a a great fun race. One of the best to do, you'll really enjoy it. To How's you training going then? It's a tough one. Are you ready for the hills. Good luck on the bike course. Etc.
My training schedule's just gone up for it and I think my coach agrees with the change in tone.
What have I done? Has anyone on here done it. Is it really that much harder than Outlaw Half?
The green bin is out waiting for attention today I'm hoping it doesn't melt in the sunshine.
My bike now actually purrs when you use the gears it's incredible, oh and the breaks work again now as well, which is useful
Can I tag into the dodgy shoulder gang? Mine is caused by the arthritis in my neck but when it flares it pinches the nerves and my shoulder locks up solid and I loose the feeling in my left arm. NHS physio was great with it last year. I now just pay for 1 session with a private physio and get it sorted ASAP as I can't be waiting for 3 months every time it goes wrong. Oddly I now have an oval patch on my shoulder towards my spine that has permanent pins and needles, GP basically says it's one of those things and to put up with it.
I'm not sure this mundane, but I bough Hubby a trail cam as an anniversary present, it was used last night to detect which of or 3 cats is peeing over the side unit. We now know it's Fluffy but no idea what to do about it! I'm not sure the trail cam manufacturers had this use in mind when they built them.
My bike is in for repair and I managed to purchase the right part for it.
