8 Knowsley Harriers flying to Spain next friday for the Benidorm half marathon.

who`s doing it?, are there any other running clubs sending a group over.

problem is, you are not running through the same tunnel as the 10k, that one is straight, the old tunnel that the marathon goes through is 2.06 miles long but where you lose and pick up the sattelite there is a difference of 1.39 miles as the crow flies so you will lose about 0.65 miles on your GPS

oh and everyone should go to the Shamrock bar on Sunday evening, a great live band, and the owner is a runner so come down and enjoy the craic

8 of us entered from Knowsley Harriers, should be a good weekend for a pis.... er i mean run. i`ve run a lot of races organised by Grupo Brotons and theyre certainly not the best race organiseres on the costa blanca, I got 2nd placed v45 at the LaNucia 10k this summer which was organised by Grupo Brotons and my prize was a polo shirt 2 sizes too big advertising a golf tournament from 2006. Just what i`ve always wanted.....not..... really looking forward to a weekend in Beni with 3000 runners, should be fun
