thank you very much very helpful
Im inquiring about the Thames Path challenge, ive signed up to do it this year ive raced a few ultras of only 30 miles and want to know a few things
1. What type of training works best? 2 runs in the week and a long one at the weekend?
2. Whats it like? Well organised? Lots of stops? Route like?
3.Ive also had problems with my IT band in the passed is there any way to prevent injury when having to up your mileage vastly?
Im really looking forward to this challenge and any comments about it or help would be very much appreciated.
Im an experienced runner and i have run a number of marathons but i have signed up to the Thames Path Challenge 100k now.
My question is what type of training do i need for this? will it just be regular long runs like 20 miles on a tues and thurs with two longer runs at the weekend back to back?
Ive signed up for the great barrow this year how was it?
