Totally agree with Katesamar, I visited the NB shop at Flimby and not only got some cracking advice but came away with a pair of trainers that were £30 less than the best online price that I could find!! Well worth a look if you can. |

Hi both, I'm 6'5" tall with 36" inside leg and my Nike tights are a bit short but I found a pair of Adidas tights (model has slipped my mind!) but they were on offer in Sports direct and are quite a bit longer than my Nikes. Failing that, my new More mile compression socks end just under the knee so no one can tell where the tights end and the socks begin! Hahahaha! Don't you love running in the winter!! |

Hi Abby, if we're all honest we run to stronger. Whether thats physically stronger (strong legs, heart, etc) or mentally stronger (I won't stop at the next lamp post, I will finish this 10k!!), but it also makes us emotionally stronger (I know they're laughing at my sparrows legs in these running tights and I don't care!! LOL). Running makes you a stronger person all round so keep going, enjoy the time you have to yourself where the road lets your mind un tangle itself without any real input from the conscious you and smile when you get fitter, faster and have moved on (with the benefit of quicker times and new running friends!!). Take care and all the best. |

Tigerspaw, might be a bit to far for me at the moment but who knows!! I'm finishing off the season at the cartmel sticky choc run in December, a nice "finish" to the year!! |

I've just completed the ullswater 14k which was my third trail run and I'm completely addicted!! Yes my times suffered compared to the road but the view is way better, its very sociable ( at events) and I'm a much stronger runner mostly due to the ankle deep mud, rock hopping and leaping over tree roots!! |
