If that's the case I will 100% be going for a cautious target. I ran a half in June last year in 21-23 degrees. twas very uncomfortable indeed and took me five litres of fluids after the race to be able to wee again!
Such as game really isn't it? I under perform against the race time predictors but at my recent HM I just randomly picked a time at the start and pretty much did it without too much discomfort (last 3 km a bit tricky and slowed a little). 1.43.
I'll mull over it. Its 5 mins between the two targets..
Problem is I am now not convinced I cant do 3.45. Your PB was 3.28 but you went for a 3.15 pace which was pretty ambitious, if you don't mind me saying!
My problem is I haven't run one yet so don't really have much of an idea what I will do but runners world race time predictors say I should do 3.35 based on my HM time which seems to be a very risky target indeed but 3.50 seems overly cautious.
