I'm confused. Ran the FLM in 2008 and used lucozade sport powder to make up drinks for my fuel belt during long training runs. Now I'm running VLM 2014, so went on the lucozade shop site to buy a couple of tubs of powder.
But shock horror, they don't seem to make it anymore? What's going on? I guess they still give it out at the event, so I want to train with it. And unlike many, I have no tummy trouble with it.
I have recently started traing again after a long break. I've had my gait analysed, and bought this year's version of he shoes I have always run in (Mizuno Wave Inspire).
I have started getting pain while running in the joint of my right big toe. I can run through it, and it comes and goes gradually as I run, but I'm a bit concerned as I'm only up to 5 miles at the moment (training for London).
anyone got any idea what it might be, and how best to treat it.
