We need to find a replacement for a crew member who has gone lame, for the Scottish Islands Peaks Race: The race starts in Oban on Friday 17 May to the Monday 21 (or so). We will sail the boat from Largs via Crinan on Wednesday 15 / Thursday 16 May. We should be finished by late on Monday or early on Tuesday (at the latest).

The crewmate needs to be able to do at least one running leg of the three-leg running race - probably Goat Fell, about 30km, with around 2800 feet up and 2800 feet down. Ideally the crewmate should be a fairly an able sailor.

Info on the race is at www.scottishislandspeaksrace.com - we are the 'Old Dogs' all-rounder crew - all with a marathon time of around 3.30-4.00.

The crewmate would share costs - same as the rest of the crew. All-in cost would be around £450.

Please email me at rob (at) trionium dot com. Or post on this thread.

Thanks - it'll be hard but fun!

He he he... your legs might say otherwise. That's three ascents of Leith Hill... two by track, one by road...

The run is 21km, half marathon: the bike is about 27km.
