I've just spotted this trek and fancy doing it, I'll be travelling down from Manchester and staying with my sister in Surbiton. Does anyone know how far I will be away from the start (time wise)? I need to leave myself enough time to get back to Surbiton, washed and changed and over to Kempton Park before the horse racing starts (13:45)!!

Top race this one!! I was in for a good time (by my standards) until the 8th mile when my right knee went and I hobbled over the line just before 1hr 35mins, I'd have been chuffed to bits beating 1hr 30mins. I'm looking at the Stockport 10 12/12/04 to have another go, do WEBRUNNER or FATFACE know if it is a PB course? (ie not a Meerbrook 15) you two seem to run all of the races I run. I did the Stockport10k earlier this year but I hear its not the same route which was quite hilly.

Cheers

I think the last water station got the drinking water and sponge water mixed up !! I nearly choked on a big chunk of gravel. mmmm lovely banana and drink of orange at the end was a nice touch. Tee shirt fits me perfectly, my girlfiends is a bit small on her though because she has got massive tits .... must go duty calls, bit tired for anything too strenuous, will do shorter flatter race next time.
