Steve,

I have written to Dave to pass on my thanks. The course was excellent, fun to race on and quite fast, despite what sometimes seemed to be a very subtle obstacle course! Organisation was faultless. I did have a brief whinge about the return through the field which slowed down the pace, when you really wanted to get stuck in and  get back to the finish (didn't seem to hamper the first 4 though!). Dave says he will get this section tarmaced over for next year. Ha!

 Very enjoyable. Thanks for asking.

Yes, came this morning. There is a significant route change from when I ran it last in 2006. Very wiggly!

You're welcome.

The ldwa link from Ray (Thanks, Ray) is great - so many good days out to choose from..

I'm doing the White Peak Marathon (May) which seems to cover the BHF route - but we spend so much time training here anyway. Look forward to meeting you at the Peakers - which distance are you doing? And another one for you: Three Lakes Classic (Rother Valley, org. Killamarsh, July) is in our diary.

Hi D Runner.

Here are some more for you:

How could I forget our local race: The Belper Rugby Rover 19M (August). We also have good reviews for the following: Hope Moors and Tors, Nine Edges, Stretton Skyline, Grin and Bear It -  all similar in feel to the Grindleford Gallop. The Rugby Rover is a really interesting and varied course - probably my favourite along with the GG. The Grin and Bear It I found really tough - maybe because of my fitness at the time, or just because I don't really get along with the 'Bog Monster'. Can link to details on all these if wanted - just contact me or just Google.
