I've just come back from Wave 2 of the Battersea Park run. As usual the race was well organised, but I couldn't help but feel a bit ripped off given how much it cost to enter.

I saw the cameras focusing on the finish line, which should also be up on the website.

It normally takes them two or three days to collate and put all the data up - so patience is the key!

Well done to everyone else who completed it - I did it in just over 45-minutes (not sure exactly yet!). How did everyone else do?

Hey Duncan,

Thanks for the heads up about nike's card processing mess up!

I rang my credit card company as soon as I got back from my run and found it had been debited 4 times, although one had been refunded straight away. I will need to chase nike for the other two refunds I think!

I am surprised that nike doesn't say a word about this on their website. It would be really bad PR if 20,000 people made the same mistake!

Cheers,

Hi guys,

I agree it's expensive, but for the running top (no doubt in bright red) and the running chip (with several timed training runs) i think it's probably worth it. Unfortunately it doesn't like my credit card! Anyone know if I can enter in person at niketown?

Cheers,

Does anyone know how to contact the British Olympic Foundation?
£500 is a little more manageable to start with and then keep going hopefully!
