Barry and i have just finished our leg, Poole to Dancing Ledge.

We got a bit wet and Barry did ask, "where is the sun from yesterday" ? Barry had to fight with rain and offshore wind for our leg today. He did keep his eyes shut on the nudist beach, when we ran along studland beach. Frank did not just in case !!! But nothing to see anyway as it was raining and windy.

Really enjoyed our leg, 11.2 miles in total.

Pictures to follow. Thanks to Ian Noble for bringing him across the ferry,

Frank

Note to Leigh Porter and John Miller,

Leigh do you want to start earlier on the Tuesday, ? i can do anytime really. Then we can hope John can get there earlier, but it gives me more time as it is 11 miles with 3 on the beach !!

John are you happy to have the handover at Dancing Ledge on the coast path ? There is a little sign saying DL but not very big.

Contact me at

frank@motcomberunners.co.uk

if needed.

Thanks guys

Frank

K4T./ John Miller6

I ran some of the Poole to Dancing ledge leg today. It will be 12 miles to Worth Matravers so Dancing Ledge would be better. You can get dropped off at Longton Matravers Car park and its a small warm up down a path to Dancing Ledge.

3 miles of my leg is on the beach ( nudist beach some of it, so could be interestin !!!!! ) so might be a bit longer than 2 hours, but if i get Barry from Leigh on Monday late pm, i could start earlier on the Tuesday.

Or just get Leigh up early to hand Barry over !!!

I should have some more runners with me.

Might have 2 more runners for the B'mouth Pier to Poole and Poole to Dancing Ledge legs, will know tomorrow.

Hopefully running the Poole to Dancing Ledge leg this week. Better place to pass the Baton instead of Dancing Ledge would be the Square and Compass pub, with car park in Worth Matraves.

Will update when i know more.

Cheers

Frank
