That's a great time Tony! I enjoyed myself but found it tough. That head wind was not pleasant! I finished in 1:38 which I was a little disappointed with as I thought I was fit enough to have a crack at my half marathon PB of 1:34. Oh well, there are plenty more events on the horizon!
Shame, I was hoping that the hill had been flattened! I ran Salisbury back in 2006 and was having a great run until I hit that hill! However I'm definitely more prepared to take it on this time around. Have a good one.
That does sound very much the same as what I have been experiencing, hip bursitis. It started about 2 weeks ago, I ran a half marathon yesturday & i'm really struggling today. Treatment is basically the RICE method. For mild cases a fortnights rest is needed, but I can't stay away from exercise, playing badminton tomorrow!
I received my race number & info on 19/08. I had contacted the race organiser & he said that all numbers had been posted on 18/08. My cheque was cashed on 04/08. If your application was late or you entered online then you may have to collect your number on the day
