I have been getting treatment for my feet. - I am suffereing with "plantar Fascitis" which basically means I have overstretched one of the muscle on the sole onf the my feet.
I am now seeing Podiatrist, and it looks like I'll need Orthotics, but have been banned from running for a few weeks, in order for the swelling to subside. The lady who has been treating me, has said it is quite common among runners, and is due either to running style or not the correct footwear. (in my case it was the running style)
I can give people updates, once I have orthotics, to see if they work.
Fellow runners I am now into my second serious year of running. Everytime I seem to run about 10 miles or so, my sole of my feet especially by my arch there is shooting pain. I have been to the sweatshop on several occasion, and my footwear, on their advice has changed from the New Asics, to Nike. But as yet nothing has seem to work. Any help would be grateful. A would be runner!!!
