Hi, I'm slowly getting back into running so low mileage (3ish miles 2-3 times per week). Over the last couple of weeks have noticed pain in the upper lateral calf, just behind the fibular head, bilaterally. I've had no pain whilst running, but noticed it most the day after my last run. Little bit tender to touch. I've had problems with my knees before but never this.

New pair of neutral shoes 2-3 weeks ago (Nike Air Pegasus 26), properly fitted after running on treadmill and very comfy. I used to run in stabilising shoes a few years ago as I was told I was overpronating, but they said not this time. I have quite flat feet so could this be an overpronation injury? Should I go back to the shop and explain?

Grateful for any thoughts, doesn't seem to fit any current injury threads!

Cheers, Ellen
