Although I know my family will be scattered randomly around the course I plan not to rely upon them for support and am carrying a camelpack with fluid (isotonic) to get me from CP to CP along with snacks in the way of energy bars, bananas and some chocolate. Also plan to throw in some vaseline and toilet paper.
Knowing what the traffic can be like around the south east on the weekend (especially if it is a nice weekend although not likely looking out the window right now) I want to ensure that I am covered if they don't make a planned stop. I'll throw in a couple of plasters but won't take the medicine cabinet - if I need anything much more then perhaps I shouldn't still be running.
I did notice the extreme running instructions said to take a torch so will throw in a light headtorch. If the cloud is in like the past few days then the mornings are dark and the nights are closing in.
Will be wearing shorts, t-shirt or running vest weather dependent, cap, sunglasses, shoes and short socks - don't particularly get on with tights.
