Cheers for the response, Alan. I personally had no problems with the placement of the water station as I very rarely take it on over that distance. I guess it's difficult to please everybody, though!

Good race, although a bit warm. Seen Alan R prowling around at the start as well. Nice that the organiser still attends his races.

Ffs - I've done nine London marathons and the start line is 220 miles away from home. I've always got there on time. Some people are just too dumb. I'm amazed they can even run. "Right left right left er what was it again ?"
