That's great, look forward to seeing you all. Justgiving to be set up. If you wanted to do a long run and pick us up part way through that would fine, probably just a bimble up south head, big stone. GBM would mort be with you?
I am having a not quite 60 birthday party.(the last 50 something birthday) while I still know who you all are (I do not want any gifts or cards, but donations to Alzhiemers research would be great) This could be a full day, as I would encourage friends and family to take part in things I enjoy doing. In the morning there will be will hopefully be a bike ride with my chinley churner friends setting off at 9.00. A run about six miles starting at 11.00. And for the less speedy maybe a walk up to south head or a shorter one to Eccles pike, get there for 11.00 and I will give you a map. I shall take part in at least one depending on how fit or injured I am. Followed by eating and drinking at the pub. Landlord Dan who has the Papermill welcomes sweaty and muddy customers, but if you want, a shower can be had at our house. I shall provide the food, you pay for your own drinks. If you want to come that will be great, even if you only do one thing that will be fine, that one thing can be going to the pub No gifts, though a donation to Alzhiemers research would be fantastic. If you want to eat I will need to know if you are coming and if you are a carnivore. I would like to order the right amount of food to warm and refresh ourselves with. Brian
Not been on for a bit but I am having a bit of a do. All who know me are welcome.
What I said might have been tongue in cheek, but 50 SHAC sizzled last night. there might be a handful of off rounders and a few more marathon runners, but out of 5 - 600 members fast and flat seems to be the popular SHAC run, track being perfect for that.
