Just wanted to say all the very best to you all for Sunday.
I did my ankle in a couple of months ago and coupled with getting a bug its done for my marathon this year. Plenty of time for training for 2008 though is the upside!
Hope everyone meets their goals and are smiling come the end.
I'm not going to be able to run the half marathon on Sunday now, and would be more than happy to give someone my place. Not sure what the process is though (not got my entry details at work)
Apologies for a long absence from the forum, I spent far too long on my OU assessment which had to be in by tomorrow, and am now worrying that I may have a bit too much on my plate over the next few months with the next OU course starting on Sat!!
The weekly personal training sessions have been great though and having something booked in my diary has kept me going during the week. I've been managing just about to get out on long Sunday runs, but not much else. May well look in to joining a running club near home to help the resolve to get out a bit more during the week. Anyone any good suggestions for friendly SW London clubs?
Debstir - good to see you here. Are you also in the FLM?
LSR planned for Sunday - forecast does seem better for then, spending most of the rest of the time on an OU course where I have to get an assessment done by end Jan.
Having to be very organised for me to get work, OU and FLM training fitted in to a week - as well as sleeping of course!
Know I'm about 3 pages late on this thread, but have been to New Zealand twice and love the place. There is so much to see that even now there are a number of places I've got on my "next time in NZ" list. Obviously takes a long time to get there but well worth it!
